Eighteen Months!

It's hard for me to believe that my baby is a year and a half old.  Then I look down on him in my arms and see how he has to curl up his body to fit on my lap and I'm amazed at how big he is!  I certainly love this little guy.
Blowing wedding bubbles.
He learned how to kick a ball!

You can see how the weather got colder by the clothes he's wearing!  We love having fun together.  He talks all the time.  Constant jabber.  He loves to "tell" us things and try to communicate with us.  His favorite words right now are "no" and "hey."  He says "heeeeeeeey," all the time.  Sometimes if he's trying to get me to say it back, he'll stop, come up to me and say, "Mama, hey!" until I say it back to him.

Connor eats some snacks during the day and a small dinner at night.  He usually eats a baby yogurt, cheese, hummus wraps, some noodles, fruit, and other things.

On Halloween we set up outside to give out candy!  I let Connor eat 4 packs of fruit snacks over a 4 hour period and he was wired.  Hey, it's only one day, right?

Britni embroidered a shirt for Connor to wear.  It's so cute!  Patrick always wears a ghost shirt on Halloween, so Connor matched him.

Connor decided to celebrate being one and a half by getting sick for the first time.  He has had a couple colds, and a one-day fever related to his molars, but this is the first time he's been really sick.  It seems like it's something like a fever flu.  Fever and a little bit of difference in his poop are the only symptoms, so it's a pretty easy illness to deal with.  On Saturday, he passed out in Patrick's arms while he was reading him books before I came to nurse him before his nap.  He has had a fever ever since Saturday morning, but it's gotten a degree less every day, so today it's in the 99 range.

Yesterday I texted my mom to say that Connor was sick and Patrick had left on a 5 day business trip and she called me back to ask if she could come visit.  I said, of course!  So she came down for the afternoon and hung out with me and we tried to keep Connor happy.
Connor was really snuggly because
he felt so bad Saturday.

Today Connor is feeling a lot better, though he still isn't 100%.  He woke up 2 hours into his nap and I nursed him, and then he went back to sleep for almost another hour and a half.  Sweet sick buddy, we hope you feel better soon!  Tomorrow he has his well baby visit, so we'll see about his growth!  I'm excited.
