Videos

Here's some videos from the past couple of weeks of the boys.  They are so cute!

Eamon saying some words.

Connor singing.

Playing "Where's Eamon?"

Connor hasn't quite mastered the spelling of "maroon."

Little Boy Stories and Pictures

I haven't really done a "state of the boys" post for a couple of months!  This means there's a lot of pictures that need to be looked at too.  I've had this post up to be posted since September Eamon has several words now!  He says "Eamon," "Mama," "Dada," "teeth," "night night," "eat," "baby," "hi," "bye," "uh-oh, "ba (for bird)," "ball," "bounce," "Britni," "uh-uh," and he makes some adorable animal noises for cats and dogs.  He signs "milk," "all done," "more," and shakes and nods his head.
Our first family trip to Tate Farms.
"Please hold my hand Eamon!"
Gotta try and do what brother does!
Cheeser.
He loves the corn crib.
About to jump!
The yellow slide!
Connor is very interested in dominos and set up his cardboard blocks to be dominos.  He also will call things "beautiful," especially numbers and colors.  He has recently started being very interested in naming emotions, both his and others.  He reacts pretty strongly when Patrick and I argue.  He usually take my side, which is hard on Patrick!  He also talks back a lot, which is hard to know how to react to.  He tells me, "Stop talking to me Mom!" and it drives me crazy!
A chalk misadventure.
Eamon went through a period of time where he really liked
having things on his head.
Snuggling a bunny on another trip to Tate Farms.  Eamon was
expecting the rabbit to lick his face like a dog had at the park.
Stinker.
Eamon is climbing on EVERYTHING.  And he is rather reckless with his person.  I'm not sure if there has been a day in the past couple months in which he didn't have some sort of injury to his face.  He most often has bruises on his forehead, but is currently sporting a giant split lip from trying to climb into his crib with the light turned out.

Yet another trip to Tate Farms.
Sweet sleeping guy.

Silly face selfie.
Connor LOVES school.  There have been a couple days where he wasn't keen on going, and one day (right before he came down with a cold) where he stayed home, but he usually is waiting at the garage door, ready to go!  He likes "all 'my kids' and teachers."  I know he loves playing with different toys and doing crafts, but his favorite part is playing with other kids and learning about letters.  Every week they have "show and share" bags that correspond to the letter they are learning about that week.  They get a brown paper bag that they can put up to 3 objects starting with the week's letter to share with the class.  Connor at first was going with the flow of what we picked, but lately has been telling me what he wants and telling me to make it out of clay!  I have made a fish, hands, and ice cream for him to take. J bags are next week and I wonder what he will want me to make!
Delighted by Connor.
How we voted.
Connor is so big!
He's too sweet.
He looks much older in this picture than reality.
Two sick guys taking a nap.  This cold has kicked our family's butt.
Trying to wake the sleeping beauties.
Eamon's new climbing feat.  We are discouraging this.
Giant split lip.  He's a wild one.
Washable markers are washable.
Warmish day at the Botanical Gardens.
This past weekend, we all came down with a cold.  Eamon has had some congestion, tiredness, and a tiny bit of a cough.  Connor has had a little congestion, had one day of fever last Sunday, and has been very tired.  He went back to napping every day after being a very sporadic napper for a month.  I got very sick Monday and Tuesday and am slowly getting better.  Patrick didn't get sick until Thursday, but his has mostly manifested in a cough and congestion.  I'm definitely the worst off, but I'm glad, even though it means the boys have been getting away with a lot.  Somehow through all of this I have been reorganizing our kitchen and it is looking great!  My goal is to permanently clear off as much counter space as possible to minimized "mental clutter."  I'm also trying to downsize the entire house to just things that we need, and I love it!
Connor has been getting too much screen time and Eamon loves it.
Again with the screen time.
Reading with Dada.
He took this by himself.
Connor and I went to a movie with Britni, Parker and Porter.
