Eamon's Birthday

For Eamon's birthday, we went to an indoor play area near us called KidVenture and has pizza and cupcakes.  Matt and Jessica were able to come with Riley and Catherine.
The reluctant birthday boy.

Cupcakes = good.
When Eamon talked about birthdays, he would cheer, "Party! Cake!"  He's a sugarholic.

Saturday we went to Krispy Kreme on the way to see if the baby in my tummy was a girl or boy.  We were so excited to find our she is a girl!
That evening we went with the Wootens to play mini-golf, which is one of Eamon's favorite activities.  He liked to exclaim, "Mini-golf!  Fun!"
Patrick took care of the boys a ton while Jerod, Britni, and I talked about Disney plans.

Thanks for going out with us Wootens!

Tate!

Our week at Tate was the first week in August, and, as always, it was a great time!  We love spending time together.  We all arrived on Sunday.  Monday we took family pictures on the steps.
Parks Carpenters
Sweet girls.
So posey :)
Eamon was not having a great day.
Make a mad face!
Make a silly face!
Not our best family shot, but cute!
Sweet silly Eamon.

Silly face!
The kids had so much fun in the water!  Eamon, Connor, and Arthur spent a lot of their time in the baby pool with the sand.  Connor got more and more brave in the water as the week went on, especially when Paige came to encourage him.
He loves his orange towel and being cozy.
Glasses!
Brave Lily Kate going off the middle tower!
Daddy's resting and snuggling.
Eating some delicious watermelon.
Yum!
He loves his daddy a lot.

Having fun on Charlie's kayak.
Swinging!
Brave guy swimming with his float.
Eamon loved jumping to Lily Kate
and having her take him to the
stairs.  And repeat.
Sweet Aunt Paige.
When we see each other at Tate, we celebrate our August and September babies' birthdays.  It's fun since they are 3 of our littlest: Hadley, Arthur, and Eamon
He loves singing "Happy Birthday."
Cookie cake!
Patrick spent quite a while getting a model rocket ready so that we could shoot it at Tate.  Everyone loved it, especially Parks.  It went super high in the air!  Patrick named it Wilson the Rocket after the stories he told the boys at bedtime.
Getting ready to watch,
The audience.
Watching the launch.
Playing in the sand.
Look at Hadley go!
Eamon jumping to Patrick.
Snuggling with Mama.
Snuggling with Uncle Henry.

Lily Kate going off the diving board.
Eamon really enjoyed having such an extended time with his daddy.  He loved being in the water with him and snuggling with him.  I was so glad Patrick was there to play with both of them since I was tired and pregnant.  He woke up with them and played with all the kids every morning.  My hero.
Three brothers.
Aunt Paige and Uncle Will eating with me and the boys.
Taking Charlie's kayak out.
Go, Liz, go!
Water shadow belly shot!
The whole week we were there, different people would see a snapping turtle emerge and breathe and then go back under.  We tried repeatedly to run out with cameras to get a picture and finally near the end of the week, we were able to, after hanging out on the teenager dock for a while, stalking bubbles.
It was big!
My cute boy.
I love his little face.
My mom was able to come down at the end of the week.  She has to work really hard at the beginning on each month, filing the last month's reports for her clients.  Got to love government contract work!
On the porch with Sani.
