Last week we got to go to the beach! Man, it was fun. We brought my friend Jessica along with us, which was great because those boys were busy! And they didn't sleep much. It was wonderful to have another pair of hands.
Eamon did really well on the drive down.
We didn't do anything the first day because I was wiped from driving. Patrick went out a got some food from Publix and pizza, which was delicious, and we all went to bed. Thursday we went to the pool, but didn't get any pictures. Eamon had fun in his float and Connor liked hanging out in the wading pool. It was nice to float around for a while. That afternoon Jessica and I went to the outlet mall with Eamon while Connor took a nap. That night, we had some DELICIOUS food at a restaurant that was much more fancy than I was anticipating. Luckily the other couple in the part of the dining room we were in also had a toddler with them.
Patrick and Jessica shared sushi and I had duck.
Friday we got up nice and early (the boys got up before 6 every day, Eamon started his long morning nursing session before 4:30. I am still tired.) and hit the beach before most people. We set up this great beach umbrella that a friend lent us. I wrapped Eamon and let him nurse to sleep, then sat under the umbrella and read while he slept and Jessica took a nap on the ground next to us.
My babe all wrapped up.
Happy guy!
Setting up.
Boys and their wonder-daddy.
Eamon liked eating sand :)
Love these hats! Neither boy got any sun burn. And they're cute!
Saturday, we all went to the pool. At lunch, Patrick and Connor went out to the outlet mall. They went the a Disney store and got Connor an awesome hoodie!
So cool.
The mighty Thor!
That afternoon we went back to the beach and this time we remembered to bring to camera! the light was awesome and we took a ton a pictures (I think almost 300 in two hours).
Baby in the sand!
Eamon is in love with Jessica.
Love my guy.
Connor was getting really mad at the waves for coming and
wiping away the letters that Patrick wrote for him the sand.
The sweetest.
How big is Eamon?
So big!
Family!
The circle of life!
He was tuckered.
Sunday morning we packed up some and went to the beach for a couple hours before starting the drive home. It was kind of an overwhelming drive, but the boys did both sleep some!
We live in north Alabama in a city named Madison, right next to Huntsville. Patrick works as an engineer for a defense contractor on Redstone Arsenal and Becca stays at home, keeping house and doing art.
Our sweet boys Connor Brandon and Eamon Neel and our wonderful girl Rowan Winship, spend their days learning about this world God put them in and keeping their mom very busy in the process.
That circle of life picture! Awesome! And Eamon...he's so stinking cute!!!
