Trip to Chattanooga

Patrick needed some time to work on a project without us at the house and I wanted to visit Mom during the week so we could to go Lake Winnie together, so the boys and I headed to Chattanooga last Sunday to stay for a couple of days.  Sarah has both Sunday and Monday off, so we got to see her a lot.

Sunday morning we drove straight to Rock City to meet Sarah.  We both strapped a little boy to our back and went down the trail.  I love Rock City so much!  The boys really enjoyed it when we went over the weekend of the 4th, when we got an annual pass, which is why I wanted to go again with Sarah.  Both the boys loved going to the bird show they have there in the summer and we got to see half of it this time as well.
I love the plants!
On the swinging bridge.  Patrick will
probably be mad I went on it.
Chattanooga!
I don't even remember why he was frustrated.
Buddy on my back.
Selfie with all seven states!
The Fairytale Cavern was welcome
coolness in the sweltering day.  I
know people thin it's creepy, but I love it!
On Monday Mom, Sarah, the boys, and I went to Lake Winniepesaukee to go to their water park.  On Mondays in the summer a mom gets in free when she pays for two children's tickets, so I was free!  the water park didn't open until an hour after the regular park did, so Connor got to go one his first rides!  He watched other kids ride this boat ride and then wanted to talk about how the boats all had different numbers.  I finally got him in one and he has this bizarre look frozen on his face the whole time.  I think he just didn't know what to think of the whole experience.   We also went on the train that rings the whole park and a ride called the boat chute.  Connor liked both of those as well.
His face!  It was just frozen like that.
We entered the water park before anyone else!  We actually told the guard that it was 11 and he should let us in :)  We got great seats under a pavilion and took the boys in the children's area.  There were 3 slides for kids and Connor just went on them for 2 hours.  We got him to go in the Crazy River with us once and he stopped for lunch, but otherwise, he was just going on the slides.  The water park was SO, so much fun.  I want to go again!  Thanks Mom!
Eamon say, "Come on Sani!"
Silly boys.
Tuesday morning, Eamon woke up early!  I handed him off to Mom and she took the boys off for TWO HOURS while I slept.  It was a great start to the day!  Eamon was so tired, he napped for 3 hours.  Then we met Leslie and her children Ella and Lincoln, and Jessica, Riley, Catherine, and Nana at Mellow Mushroom before going to the aquarium.  The restaurant was a little frustrating because it took a while to get seated and get our food, but once we did, all the kids settled down and we had some great food!
Princess girl.
Trying to make this frustrated boy happy.  Pizza solved everything.
So pretty!
I wore both the boys so I wouldn't have
to deal with the stroller.  It was sweaty,
but Connor was so happy!
Cousins!!
The curly heads.
All the kids but Lincoln.  He was snugged on his mom's back.
Eamon loves walking around and banging on the windows.
The only picture of Lincoln :(
