Tate

Oh Tate.  It's so wonderful.  This year we had great weather (it only rained one day) even though it was a little bit chilly for swimming.  The water felt great though!

We arrived on Saturday around 11 and Eamon was utterly delighted to be there.  He was so happy to see the water and all the people, especially all the teenagers jumping off of the tower.
Myers and Laura had spent the night with Mom with us the night before, so they arrived shortly after us.  It was nice to spend some time together before I took the boys to the house to give them naps.
Mr. Arthur was not sure about anyone.
Awesome float from Sassy.
A smile!
Boys swimming!
Cousin David!
Our cousin David was there because the day we arrived was the end of Annual weekend.  He jumped of the tower and then Connor yelled at him to do it again.  And again.  And again.  "Again Da-VID!"  He was very obliging.
Parks and Liz arrived right around dinner time and Will, Paige, and Henry joined us at the dock.  Since Mom and Sarah were able to get off of work to spend the night, we celebrated our one, two, and three year old babies, Eamon, Arthur, and Hadley.
I have been avoiding sweets for Eamon, so this was his first sugary snack.  He really liked it!  I wasn't surprised.
Chocolate cake!
I think Hadley liked the cake too.
Monday morning we woke up and took family pictures.  The children were very cooperative overall, and we even decided to have a big family picture for the first time since Winship and Marie died.
These girls are in love with each other.
Sassy!
The Parks Carpenters
Lily Kate was sweet to Eamon the whole trip.
Arthur was not having pictures without his dad so we included all of them.
The best one of just the kids.  Seriously.
That's better!  With Mom and Paige.

Parks and Liz are cute!

Coming up from a visit to the bridge.
The first few days we were there, Eamon would nap in the morning and I would stay with him while Connor and Patrick went to the dock.  We would join them from lunch and then go back to the house for both the boys to nap.
Aunt Liz!
Mom and her oldest.
On Monday, I actually went swimming and got to jump off the tower a few times.  Connor was very into it, of course.  Patrick got some action shots.
"1, 2, 3, go!"
Watching from middle tower.
Cannonball off the diving board.
Go Paige!
We all had to make sure Eamon didn't
do something reckless and hurt himself.
Watching Frozen.
One day Eamon was sleeping late and Patrick went to the dock with Connor and took a bunch of cool pictures.
Wore Connor out!
Parks and Liz and Hadley spent nights at the Hankeys' house because they really wasn't room at the Winship house.  The three big girls spent some time in their yard making a "house" for their "girls," which were golf balls.  So much creativity!
