Christmas!!

Christmas is a fun time of year and having children makes it even better!  Eamon and Connor are such joys, and it was fun to be able to share them with our families over the holidays.  We headed to Chattanooga on the Friday before Christmas and stayed for 9 days.  We stay with my mom, but this holiday was really about being at the Jemison house.  The only one who didn't make it for Christmas there was Kevin, and he had to miss out so that he could come to Jenny's wedding in Austin, TX, two weeks from now.  We missed him a lot!

It was fun to see Riley and Catherine and how much they had grown.  They weren't feeling great and took a while to warm up to us, but I hope that when we're in Austin, they will be happy to see us again.  Another person we were happy to see if my grandmother.  Granmar doesn't remember very much, but she was very happy to spend time with my boys, even if she didn't know who they were half the time.  Eamon and Connor both got a kick out of her.  She loved how enthusiastic Connor was to see her and Eamon is a flat out flirt.

Flirting with Granmar.
Matching clothes!
Eamon's favorite person was probably Matthew.  He laughs all the time and Eamon loves laughter.  He was always giggling along with everything that Matthew would say.
Uncle Matthew, Eamon, and Aunt Megan.
He certainly looks suspicious, doesn't he?
Sunday night we went out to eat at P.F. Chang's for Happah's and Nana's anniversary!  It was fun, even though Jessica and I got stuck in the baby ghetto with the little ones at the end of the table.  I'm glad the other adults had some time to talk though.
Pretty lady.
Uncle Chris!
It was fun going over to the Jemisons' every day, though I ended up getting the short end of the stick since I had to put Connor and Eamon down for naps in the afternoon and had to go back to Mom's for a couple of hours and stayed with the boys at her house after we put them to sleep every night.  Connor really loved being at Happah's house.  He had a whole series of things he would look for on the way there and announce them to me as we drove.  "A blue car!  An orange car!"
Watching videos on Happah's phone.
Loving on Aunt Jenny.
This baby loves books!
Laughing with Uncle Matthew!
On Christmas Eve, the Jemisons came over to my mom's for Christmas Eve dinner.  We had a lot of fun together and we even got pictures of all the littlies together!
Yes, this is the best one.

Stealing a kiss.
Newly discovered toes.
Someone loves his Aunt Sassy.
It used to be a tradition in my family to always open a present on Christmas Eve.  We stopped doing it the past few years, and weren't going to this year, but Connor was taking a bath and I realized he should open the new bathrobe we got him.  He loved it!
Christmas PJs!
Brotherly noms.
Candy candy can!
Both the boys woke up early on Christmas morning.  I had 3 cups of coffee to get me through the day, but it was great!
Patrick enjoying his cup of coffee.
Sassy and Eamon with his new monkey.
One present I was excited for Connor to get was his green ukelele.  He was so fascinated by Myers' guitar at Thanksgiving, I knew I wanted him to get a guitar of his own.  We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus before opening presents, which Connor loved.  I told him to play the guitar while we sang and he was so into it, we had to do it 5 times in a row.
Connor's green guitar!
Riley on his new couch.
The Jemisons have this cute hat box that we've been taking the babies' pictures in each year.  Connor was basically too big, but he humored us anyhow.  I need to make a comparison picture for Riley and him, since this is their third Christmas!
Pretty Cat.
Sweet Eamon.
Riley wanted to cuddle with his blanket.
Nutty Connor.

Jenny and Chris left Friday morning and we were happy we would get to see them in a few weeks.  The rest of us (sans Matthew, who had to do some work for his newspaper) went to the aquarium.
