After leaving Mississippi, everyone came to our house in Alabama, since it is on the way to Chattanooga. Parks and Liz and their girls stretched their legs for a bit before heading to Chattanooga and spending the night with Mom. Myers and Laura and their kids spent the night with us! The next day we all headed to Chattanooga. Monday night we did our traditional Christmas Eve dinner and Tuesday we did our "Christmas day" since it was the last day we would be together.
Just like Sani!

Christmas eve, Parks and his family headed home so they could have Christmas day at their own house. Myers and Laura stayed with us, and we moved into a nice rental house in North Chattanooga. While Eamon napped, Myers and Laura went out for some last minute shopping, Connor and Patrick had lunch with some of his family, and I took Lillian and Arthur to the playground in Mom's condo complex. On the way, we got caught in the rain!
We hunkered down under the front porch of the exercise building until the rain slowed to spitting. A man who was walking his dog talked to us for a while and he was so nice! After we decided to go out and play, the kids found the ditch/stream and started throwing rocks. They had a blast!
Bored selfie.
After Eamon woke up, Patrick and Connor and I moved into the new rental house (the Beck House) and then drove up Signal to be with the Jemisons. We went to the 5:30 mass with Ed and Marie.
Cute Christmas clothes for Christmas Eve mass.
Sweet Jemison boys.

Every year the town of Signal Mountain sets up with awesome train that you can play on and take pictures with. Every year we talk about taking our kids, but never make it. This year I made Patrick stop so we could have pictures of the boys in their cute jammies. Eamon was thrilled!
Christmas day at the Jemisons was so fun! Everyone takes so much care with their gifts to each other and it's nice to really care for each other by making Christmas great. Chris and Jenny brought their room mate Kim, who is from Australia, and Megan brought her boyfriend Ricky, who was one of Chris's groomsmen.
Connor drawing on his new easel from Megan and Ricky.
There was LOTS and lots of iPad time of this trip.
Christmas Cat!
Enjoying her new dollhouse.
Ricky, Chauncy, and Megan.
Since Connor's and Riley's first Christmas, we have taken pictures of the kids in this Christmas box. Somehow, we managed to convince them all to do it again this year. Some results were better than others.
We also tried to get a picture of all the kids together, which is always laughable.
Seriously the best one.
Sweet Riley and Megan.
These kids are so sweet to one another.

Eamon loves dogs and he was thrilled to have 3 of them to harass while enjoying Christmas. He loves to be licked on the face by dogs, so he shoves his face into theirs so they will give him kisses.
Eamon and Fable.
Eamon and Chauncy. Chauncy is not sure what to make of this little people.
Connor thought Catherine's Caillou doll was awesome.
Really awesome.
Some of the aftermath.
Riley looked so cute in his Christmas clothes.
Connor and Arthur had a lot of fun together. I think Eamon and Arthur would have had more fun together if they weren't fighting over their Lightning McQueen toys the whole time!
Day after Christmas, the residents of the Beck House went dow the hill to a restaurant called Aretha Faankensein's for breakfast. It was delicious! And even though we had a long wait (which is very typical), the wait staff was so great about our very fussy and crazy kids. After breakfast, Eamon took a nap and Patrick and Connor met the Jemisons at the aquarium.
That evening we went to the Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City with Myers' family and Kevin and Marie. It was beautiful and the children had a lot of fun!
Wearing both the boys for a few minutes. It was too dangerous to keep wearing Eamon on my front!
Cool fake snow.

Goofy kids
After Rock City, we went to my mom's to have some pizza with her, Sarah, Henry, Will, and Paige. Late that night Patrick went back to Aretha Frankenstein's with Kim, Jenny, and Chris, but I had to go to bed. Saturday morning, I woke up feel very sick. Amazing and wonderful Patrick packed up everything in the rental house and got me and the boys in the car to drive us home, instead of spending the day with his family, like we had planned. Once we got home, he unpacked everything and took care of us while I tried to get better. I'm so grateful to him for being such a great dad and husband!
We live in north Alabama in a city named Madison, right next to Huntsville. Patrick works as an engineer for a defense contractor on Redstone Arsenal and Becca stays at home, keeping house and doing art.
Our sweet boys Connor Brandon and Eamon Neel and our wonderful girl Rowan Winship, spend their days learning about this world God put them in and keeping their mom very busy in the process.
